MVHR System
MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) provides fresh filtered air into a building whilst retaining most of the energy that has already been used in heating the building. Heat Recovery Ventilation is the solution to the ventilation needs of energy-efficient buildings. Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR), heat recovery ventilation (HRV) or Comfort ventilation are all names for the same thing. A heat recovery ventilation system properly fitted into a house provides a constant supply of fresh filtered air, maintaining the air quality whilst being practically imperceptible.
MVHR works quite simply by extracting the air from the polluted sources e.g. kitchen, bathroom

Mountainview Social Housing
Castlewellan Co. Down
This project consisted of 33 No new build houses set in an area with exceptional panoramic views. The plumbing, heating and ventilation specification for this contract was delivered to a very high standard.
St. James Park Social Housing Development
Hillsborough, Co. Down
This project constituted of 22 No new build houses. These social homes were delivered to the main contractor on time within a very short timeframe albeit not compromising on our high standards of workmanship and materials.
Lesley Park Royal, Private Housing Development
Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast This private housing development close to Belfast City Centre comprised of 35 No new build houses and 18 No new build apartments.
Pirrie Manor Housing Development
Comber Co. Down
This private housing development involves the construction 70 No new build houses set in the Ballygowan Road, Comber.
Wad River Close
Ballymun, Dublin
This project for the client saw Elite as the mechanical contractor for the construction of 9 No new build apartments, set in North Dublin.
BESPOKE HOUSING
The House Ballylesson
Ballylesson Road, Belfast
A modern, contemporary new build house set in Ballylesson in the outskirts of Belfast. The mechanical proposal for this replacement dwelling and garage was to meet the requirements of both the architect and owners of this extraordinary house. Due to the open-planned, modern living orientation of the house, all mechanical works undertaken were done so closely with the builder, architect and home owner to ensure that all the mechanical needs for this building were met both visually and practically. The high specification design of this house incorporated the most high efficient gas boiler heating system, underfloor heating and mechanical ventilation heat recovery.
This project utilised the full design, supply and installation expertise of our company.
Owens Castlewellan
Castlewellan, Co. Down
A new build replacement dwelling set in the heart of Co. Down. This house saw the most up-to-date alternative energies including air source heat pump, PV Solar panels, underfloor heating and Mechanical ventilation heat recovery.

CONSERVATION PROJECTS
Ulster Bank / Donaghadee House
Donaghadee, Co. Down
This restoration project of the former Ulster Bank in the heart of Donaghadee town, is a project like no other. Meeting the specific needs of the new owners to create a new family home in this setting is both a unique and challenging project. The mechanical contract of this project is very demanding due to the historical nature and the restoration restrictions of this listed building. However, Elite were more than capable of meeting the design, supply and installation requirements of the architect, builder and most importantly the new owners of this exceptional home. High efficiency gas heating system comprising of cast iron radiators throughout, a fire suppression system as well as a unvented hot water plumbing system. A specific soil and waste system was designed to complement the original cast iron soil and
waste pipe work.
COMMERCIAL
Castlewellan Community Centre
This project involved the refurbishment and extension of the existing community centre building in the centre of Castlewellan into a much larger, modern and key community building within the town. Collectively this project required the refurbishment of the former school building and extension for the nursery school as well as the development of a sports hall. Elite Plumbing Heating & Gas Ltd were proud to carry out the mechanical work at Castlewellan Community Centre and nursery, a building within their local town. Nitro Software Office
This project involved the mechanical fit out of Nitro Software Offices In Charlemount Place, Dublin, Ireland.
Deutsche Bank, Dublin
East Point Business Park, Dublin, Ireland
Elite were the mechanical contractors for carrying out all alterations to the Deutsche Bank in relation to installation of gas and water meters, the installation of less-abled toilet facilities and the chemical treatment of pipe-work.
Chester House
North Circular Road Dublin
Working to the specific design and specification needs for the mechanical consultants, this project for the Simon Community to supply and install the mechanical equipment for 20 un suite bedrooms within the building was well within Elites’ skill set.
The project involves all aspects of Elites’ skillset: plumbing, heating, ventilation, soils, wastes, alternative energies comprising solar water heating, air source heat pump and rain water harvesting.
